The world depends on chemical reactions. Without these processes, there would be no life on earth, and more importantly, there would be no earth at all!
A chemical reaction is a chemical change in which one or more substances (reactants) are converted into others (products). Some reactions occur only under certain conditions (e.g. supply of heat, presence of light or electricity), while some reactions are accompanied by certain external indications (e.g. color change, effervescence, heat or light).
